Khanabadosh is a fabulous place in every which way. It is quiet, beautifully done up and has great walks and hikes all around. We went on 2 hikes - one to Shali Tibba and other around the house. Both were organised by the people at Khanabadosh and it was wonderful. The biggest plus point is that they really go in details of what we want as guests. Very very worth the money spent.

The food at this place man!! It is something else. We ordered a dham one day which is local Himachali meal and got rainbow trout one day. Never had such good fish. The owner cooks herself. Maybe that is the difference. It was totally peaceful, and we spent most days in the library doing our research. The attic room is amazing and don't miss their coffee. Totally yummy!

Being a writer and Delhi resident, was looking to stay at a place where I would get peace and space for my writing. That's exactly what I got and more at Khanabadosh. Cut off from the crazy din and chaos of city life, this is a quaint homestay run by Geetika and her two dogs who go out of their way to give you space. Ultra comfort stay and delicious home cooked meals.

Khanabadosh is India's first premium travelling BnB by Geetika Khanna. I have stayed in the best of hotels but this place was phenomenal in all ways possible. From the fabulously done up cozy rooms, to the personalised name tag on the vanity tray to the exceptionally well cooked meals served with extra love and the amazing collection of books in the library, they have it all. I am in complete AWE with this place.

They took the pain to ensure that we reach the exact place safe when Google maps couldn't help. The place is beautifully located amidst high standing trees, with an amazing view of snow clad mountains. They cook what they sow in their little farm. In case you need something to nibble during midnight, they would keep some food item for nibbling. Who does that, right? It makes you feel at home.

It truly was one of the finest home stay experiences of my life. The view from the property was breathtaking. The suite was impeccably laid out and I haven't seen 5 star properties go into such detail. Everything from the tea caddy to the toiletries were personalised to guest needs. Geetika and Kalam organised my daily trekking routes and a walking heritage tour of Shimla for me.

A boutique home stay that provides the most memorable experience amongst any of your holidays ever. Geetika and her two beautiful Golden Retrievers, Gabbar and Sultan will shower you with immense care and outstanding hospitality. The food here is to die for and is likely to jeopardise all your plans to eat outside because you may want to try newer tastes with every different meal.

Geetika tracked our progress as we wound our way up from Kalka. The homestead is done up tastefully and with much love. Geetika bakes her own yummy cookies and is generous with visitors. The quiet, scenic location offers many options for easy walks. The air is so pure that a feeling of wellness pervades the body and soul. Your soul learns to breathe again.

We stayed for three nights, thoroughly enjoyed the warm hospitality of Geetika and the wonderful home-cooked food. The rooms come with their own spirit, decorated with great taste and eye for detail. The fresh mountain air plus super comfy bed gave the best sleep ever. We warmly recommend homestay with Geetika: she makes her guests feel at home!

Being frequent travelers, Khanabadosh was out of our budget, but Geetika was generous & gave us a discount. Geetika's home reminds you of English countryside mansions. Of course, we were dying to meet the pooches – Gabbar & Sultan. What affectionate rascals they turned out to be! Nothing we say about Kalam Singh's culinary skills is going to do justice. The decor is outstanding with artifacts from Geetika's travels.

Just travel to Mashobra, check in and you are taken care of. All you have to do is switch off the phone and enjoy the scenery, savour home cooked food, play with two beautiful retrievers, go for a trail walk, book a trek, take the mountain bike out, do some yoga, pick a book from the fantastic library collection and sit around the bon fire in the evening. How does it get better than that?

We got late riding up due to puncture and got a full meal from a smiling welcoming Khanabadosh at 11:40pm! Most hotels in the area will not accommodate this as they shut off at 10. Just like a home. We are definitely coming back. Only drawback is she should have more rooms so we can bring more riders!
